My Favorite Read
In high school we read a lot of good and bad books, plays, and other works. Only one of these really stands out and that is Homer's Epic Poem: The Odyssey. I like to think of myself as a very adventurous person and like to read anything that makes me wish I was on the same adventure as the main character. While reading the Odyssey I was filled with the urge to go on an adventure. Sure enough, the week after reading it our cross country team took a trip to Hawaii. While there I led everyone on a hiking adventure inspired by the Odysseus' travels.
